VW lease deals did not make into the January Lease Ratings, but you can view them all here. Not only that, dealers are offering some tremendous savings which are much better than the incentives being offered on the Volkswagen website. For example, I just leased a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan S 4Motion for $220.00 per month and nothing down. The Tiguan S 4Motion has an MSRP of $27,800 excluding Dealer and Handling Fees. With an average payment of just $220.00 per month, the LVR on this deal is 0.79%! This is one of the lowest lease value ratios you’ll find anywhere.
Subvented lease deals like these are common on models in their last model year, just before the newly redesigned models takes their place. The 2017 Tiguan will be replaced by an all-new, drastically changed model for 2018. This is still a great vehicle if you’re in the need for a Crossover SUV and comes very well equipped: back-up camera, Smart Phone connectivity, blue-tooth, push-button start, and of course All Wheel Drive. My dealer told me that next year’s Tiguan will be larger from front to rear. Ironically, one of the things I really like about the Tiguan is its short, sporty body-frame. It fits in my garage much better than the 2012 Accord SE which I traded-in. By the way, this same Accord was also a subvented lease and a great deal in the last model year of the previous generation of Hondas.

This is why I always recommend asking your dealer for a better deal. As you can see by the current lease table below, what you see on the website isn’t always what you get. In the case of VW lease deals for January, it isn’t even close.
